Looks like Mundine wasn't wearing socks so I wouldn't read too much into this.

IDK. You cant tell everything from highlights but he looked pretty good. Then there are a few occasions when great fighters do some amazing things. SRL coming off a 5 year retirement to beat Hagler and Floyd himself seems like he only had like 4 fights in 5 years for awhile.......lol

Clottey deserves huge respect for this. Most would really let the inactivity ruin their careers. He obviously takes boxing seriously and came back furiously. That was a proper ass-kicking.

Clottey has always been a very good fighter, but he made a huge mess of his career during and after the Pacquiao fight.

-Implied to African interviews that he was pressured to throw the fight, word of it spread quick. I'm sure that didn't earn him any favors with Top Rank.

-Got injured and pulled out of his comeback fight.

-Seemed content to sit on the shelf (he'd just made a ****load of money) and wait for his contract with Top Rank to end.

-By the time he came looking for a fight, he was high risk and low reward. Guys need to keep fighting to stay relevant. No one wanted to take the risk, Mundine didn't get the memo.

No, he didn't. People wrongly inferred it. He said he was meant lose that day in the destiny/God has a plan/it was predetermined by the universe type of way.
