Round 9 begins Lara triples a jab and Canelo continues stalking.

Commentators note that Alvarez has been looking increasingly like it's an Alvarez fight and he's getting to Lara more and more.

I wouldn't say that necessarily but Lara definitely has not fully figured out Canelo either and is not doing much effective. Canelo rips hugely to the body. Lara rips a nice shot to the head and Canelo comes back with another ripping shot to the body. They clinch and Canelo fights out of it with thudding shots to the body again.

Lara will be pissing blood for a week. Lara rips nice 1-2 combo down the pipe that lands on Canelo.

Canelo clinches and rips to the body with the free hand.

Canelo trapping him on the ropes more and ripping him to the body. Blood seemingly on Lara's face not sure whose blood it is but Canelo is actually looking more and more confident. He gets him in the corner and rips Lara with shot after body shot. Lara is looking fatigued and demoralized nad confused. He's not doing much at all. Canelo looks confident now stalking bobbing and ripping with body shots. Lara lands a ripping shot to the head and Lara goes down on a slip in the corner. At least apparently a slip.

Lara running now and his confidence is "visibly draining away" as per the commentator which I agree with. Canelo definitely has the edge now and is dominating. Canelo round easily 5-4 the tide has SHIFTED!!!
