Round 8 begins. One commentator has it 5-2 Lara. I don't know about that at all. I don't see how you can have Lara ahead at this point he's not doing anything of note at all. Alvarez is landing by far the harder cleaner shots and I have no favorites here as I'm not a particular fan of either fighter and couldn't care less who wins.

Lara pelting with jabs again in round 8 and Canelo stalking as always. Lara lands nice jab and slides out of the way. Lara rips a 1-2. Canelo rips to the body and they clinch. Lara winning this one as Canelo is not doing much effectively.

Lara rips a counter to the head Canelo's body shot is blocked.
Canelo rips a combo and Lara weaves out.

Canelo rips to the body again. Lara fighting smarter this time and dodging out of the way of brutal body blows while landing his own counters. Definitely a Lara round with 20 seconds to go.
