Canelo vs. Lara: Post Fight Discussion Thread

Canelo is still very young, maybe not in his prime yet but he fought some tough opponents, the bouts against Mosley, Trout and Mayweather specially gave him alot of experience and confidence. Some time ago i thought Lara would UD Canelo easily but i think Canelo can keep up with Lara and hurt him/slow him down and win rounds with the cleaner punches landed, like he did against Trout. If the fight is close Canelo will get the decision anyway but i think he will pull it off without help and win a competitive fight, maybe manages to put Lara down once or twice and win 7:5 rounds.

I just hope Lara trains properly for this fight since it is heard that he is more focused on snake training than actual boxing training.

The only way i see canelo winning this fight is by going maidana on him with hard shots to the body. If not, lara wins the boxing lesson.

You don't have to be Maidana. Angulo did it but I dont think Canelo is capable of doing that.
