According to Compubox, Canelo threw 513 punches against Angulo. Even when he's fighting against a guy who solely comes forward, he still doesn't throw all that much. Against Trout, he threw 431 punches. Against Floyd, he threw 510. It's possible that Canelo doesn't gas since Lara is also economical with his output. However, if Lara starts to clearly outbox Canelo, he hasn't shown the stamina needed to switch gears. I don't think we'll see the blistering combinations that he's known for because Lara will rarely ever be in range for them to land consistently. His best chance is to hurt/finish Lara with one punch.

That was enough for the judges last time. The differences now: the fight is taking place in Vegas, there's no open scoring, and Lara has more going for him than Trout did.
