Luiz Ortiz vs. Antonio Tarver for the WBA "world" heavyweight title in the works?

If this happens the WBA has sunk to a new low.

If so, the title will be a joke to most, if not all. Will be disappointed if this is made.

Seems like the WBA is trying to compete with the WBC for the bogus organization of the year award. Still plenty of time left.

              Yes. Cash-out fight for Antonio.

Easy opponent for a big hard-punching heavyweight like Luis Ortiz.

Looks like it will be Ortiz vs. one of these three for the WBA title:

                Antonio Tarver
                Alexander Ustinov
                Travis Kauffman

                https://www.boxingnews.com.ua/ru/nov...boju-s-ortisom

The WBA will decide. Golden Boy wants Ortiz vs. Tarver.

None of those three are bona fide top 10-20 heavyweights.

Just last year the WBA said they were phasing out multiple champions, but they've already gone against their word with that literally right after making that statement last year. Now this? What a joke of an org.
