'Compassion' goes well with Pac's image as a super nice guy.
But in reality, i think he hit Marg with everything he could, and didnt have enough left to finish him off.
Its not just about having the stamina to keep throwing punches, its about tenacity to get the KO.
Many great aggressive fighters run out of that inner 'fire' that made them so vicious and explosive in their primes.
I think Pac ran out of that fire after the Marg fight.
I wouldnt call it compassion, as that is a choice. He is only human, and in declince as a fighter.
Still great, but not what he once was.

PAC defiantly was compassionate to marg .
The beating he gave marg was huge and the ref should have stopped it
He stopped throwing punches to look at the ref on several occasions .
That showed true sportsmanship

Robert Garcia
Because of Robert Garcia, Tony Margarito left his career in the ring with Manny Pacquiao. Tony wanted to quit, but Gracia kept sending him in. Robert Garcia will end up getting some fighter really hurt.

Pacquaio had so much compassion for Marquez that he allowed Marquez to knock him out cold with one punch.
The sad part about this is that some of the idiotic Pac worshippers will actually believe this and will sooncreate a thread saying this very thing.
