With Green he always had the advantage as Green is a robot in there, but he was in supreme physical shape. Roy Sr was throwing in fresh guys, cruisers to spar him and making him work that extra round or minute after he was spent. Sr said he wanted to quit and stop in sparring which he didn't allow. He would say things like "are you going to quit on the night of the fight" You could see the results against Green. He was fast, sharp and strong.

As for the bold you are right. He was comfortable making millions per fight because we all paid for it.
Its also true that he never left Aus (I dont count nz as leaving aus) after losing to Ottke who has a very low KO%.

Mundine looked scared when he lost to Kessler, 8 rounds to 4 and from that day on he never took on a top level boxer again.

I think he realised himself after that night that he wasnt good enough.

Even if he did move to the US and tried to make it big he would have falled short any way but in saying that he would of earned more respect for trying.
