Yea. You said Lara struggled with lesser(other) fighters therefore this won't be a mismatch.

As long as the ginger bastard keeps walking Lara down he well land punches. Lara is not as slick specially when under pressure. If ginger lets Lara dictate the pace its game over for his pasty @ss

This is actually on point. The question is, will Canelo fight like a Mexico for once in his life...LOL

He has to walk through the fire a bit to get the rewards in this fight.

If Canelo knew how to pressure better, I will give him a much better chance. His problem is he really is a fighter who likes to stand his ground, unless he pulls out himself for a breather.

I cannot picture him chasing Lara very well, and Lara can punch on the move. Canelo likes fighters to come to him, and Lara will not bite.

I expect a Lara decision win.

Edit: Unless of course Canelo had some very fine print in the contract stipulating a 10' Square Ring

I wouldn't call it a mismatch, i do think Lara's going to win though. Lara's style will be too much for Canelo i believe.

That's why I favor Lara. I can't pick Canelo based on expecting him doing something that he hasn't done before even against smaller fighters that utilize less movement.

Canelo's big chance, in my opinion, is to KO Lara in the later rounds, just like Froch did to Groves.

Lara is technically and tactically too skilled for Canelo.

But with Canelo's reputation of gassing, will his punches have enough mustard to hurt Lara in the late rounds and keep him down? Lara is very well conditioned. I think the Angulo fight proved that.

Only way he does this if he starts investing in the body early, but then again that would require him to fight in close which would make Canelo have to take a lot of straight left hands to do so.
