    I don't see it.
I don't think it is that complicated, it would have to be a stud no doubt because American's see enough stud athletes to know the genuine article.

They just need to catch that break, busting a few dudes on ESPN, then continuing the process on the higher levels it would build quick, it would be better if they could talk but they don't even need that they just need that fearsome look.

I think it is that complicated.

Off the top of your head, when was the last time an American HW was in a main event, headliner of a PPV?

        Because I'm drawing a blank.

Holyfield-Toney in 2003...doing 150,000 buys. Or Tyson-McBride in 2005...at 250,000. The last big HW fight I can remember is Holyfield-Lewis II.

              Lewis-Tyson

We have had garbage heavies since then though, not a one that could capture anybodies imagination. Seriously who is the best American heavy since then, Chris Byrd?

The last vintage heavy that America produced was Rid**** Bowe, who didn't have the mentality to last long term.

Now this guy may or may not ever walk through the door, but it is pretty simple once they do.

Fight was what, 14 years ago?

Like I said, I think it's going to take a special talent, combined with great marketing to see an American HW approach the numbers that the top of the list have in their careers.

I have been wrong many times before. And it would be great if I was wrong on this.

But I don't see it happening.

That's the last one I can remember.

Nearly 12 years now since then?
