    Sergio Mora as a threat?

    Better believe it.

Discuss. I don't think I have to go into detail in this post.

Oh and spare me the "featherfisted" bull****.

      What about his style?

It's ****ing akward. Lets talk about someone who he resembles.

A guy by the name of Sven Ottke who dominated the divison

I do like Sergio but tend to think that what keeps him from being a real contender is his punching power. Top notch opponents aren't going to respect his shots and walk right through them. And I am a Sergio fan.

Skilled fighter of that there is no doubt (only based on what I saw in Contender series and subsequent rematch with Manfredo, which I thought Manfredo won)but I just don't see him winning a world title, I prefer Manfredo becuase I think he hits harder and is technically on par (in my book) with Mora.

Perhaps Mora could adapt and set down on his shots a little more? If so who knows!

really can't compare him to Sven Ottke cause i havn't seen this guy fight or just hear his name... just basing it on mora's previous fights, contender or not, he really does not have enough punching power to be great. if you put him against the top dogs in his division, IMO he wouldn't stand a chance....

hes a pretty good fighter, but he won't beat the current champions.
He could become a top contender though, i always thought that Ishe Smith was better.

Mora is definitely a threat in my opinion. His style is very unorthodox and he can fight orthodox and southpaw. Hes elusive, fast, smart, it seems that he has good stamina but I need to see more to tell, and he can take a punch. If he increases his punching power, he could be a serious fight for anyone.

                    I believe this too.
I think what he needs is a world level coach. Manfredo picked up Fred Roach and It's done him ****ing wonders. He looked great out there against pemberton.

I think if mora hooked up with a good trainer who can develop his style for him, he could become a contender, if not champ. He's got good handspeed, and throws puynches at all weird angles, and is reasonably elusive. If he sets his feet to the floor and throws his weight into his punches, they'll do damage. Thats a fact. Anybody who sets their feet down and punches with good technique will do some damage. He won't be a knockout artist or anything, but he'll definitely be a cumulative damage sorta guy.
