I got the game on Tuesday and have been playing the hell out of it. The realism has increased a lot over round 2. The fights play out like real boxing matches to a degree. The different types of styles that you can pick for your boxer are a nice addition, but the ranking system sucks and the rivalary modes and trash talking that it claims you can do on the box are just not there. If this were improved upon it would be an instant classic. It's definately a must buy for hardcore boxing fans.

I agree I like in career mode how when you fight the fighters, it shows a small clip of you and the fighter you either beat or are about to face

the style for each fight is way better, plus you can change from standard stance and southpaw during a fight

one thing I dont like is the one punch kd

click on the first two movies

they improved the game alot. You can nolonger throw fast haymakers. It is more realistic. The more haymaker you throw the more you get tired. But there are one punch KOs but it takes along time to charge

I got the PS2 it on 2/21/06 and I have to say is better and more realistic than the round 2.I haven't play it to much but it is a most have boxing game. The fights ain't acade no more like the round 2,also you can fight with literaly all real life boxers, with only 20 pro fights I fought,Jermain Tylor,X,Hagler,SRR,SRL,LaMotta and Twinky Wright something you couldn't do in the round 2...
here are some bad screenshots of Felix Trinidad vs Oscar de la Hoya II.

game is actually ok but it does have a ton of glitches. see what happens when you got to release a game on 5 or more platforms. oh i got it for the ps2. sometimes itll pause automatically at the start of a match and sometimes during the corner moments the boxers facial hair or hair on his head will disappear
and the punch collision is horrible very often you wont even connect or ur punch goes into their skull or something and the blood looks weird on the ps2 version

gameplay is ok definitely a lot better than fn r2 but still a let down the styles still dont feel right but i hope they at least keep building upon it cause i think the styles was a move in the right direction
