I still gotta go with Abril though. I like his style.
Yeah, Crawford is talented, but Abril is no joke,, I think Abril should be the betting favorite.. Very tricky fighter

i still think crawford beats abril but i dont see him being a future star atm
Crawford is like a ward, Bradley, Hopkins, pernell, Pauli, They may not be spectacular and exciting but they usually always get the job done...
I would have liked to seen him stop burns in the mid to late rounds, but I'm not going to hold it against him,, he just isn't ever going to be an exciting fighter

Could possibly be the most boring fight of all time? I'm talking W.klitschko kind of boring! Their are some talented guys at 135 but nobody that people really want to watch

Would be a chess match.. I have always said that Crawford is a future p4p star, but Abril will be a very very tough test, but these are the types of fights that if u win, give u p4p recognition

          Crawford wins a SD
Thank you sir, someone who appreciates this match up. Most posters hold these two technicians as boring etc.

Back to OP this would be a great match up not too casual fan friendly because they only enjoy tear ups.

I would have to lean towards Crawford 51:49 that's how close the fight would be.

Abril has to win that upcoming fight in Moscow first. The scorecards might already be filled out for that one. I like Richie, but he's a weak champ. He's very cagey and very skilled, but Abril doesn't get the nod in close fights. Hell, even the Rios fight, which he won by a landslide, was scored against him.

When was the last robbery in Russia?

He got robbed in America against Rios..... The scorecards are just as likely to be filled out in the States or anywhere else over Russia, if not more.

I'm not trying to say robberies are any more likely to occur in Russia than anywhere else. What I'm saying is that, often, when a fighter travels to his opponent's home field, he's risking home-cooked judging. It's a historical concern. And it's especially risky for a guy like Richie, whose spoiler style doesn't exactly command respect. If Abril were Russian, I wouldn't like his chances in Havana. Get me?

I gotcha. Let's hope there's no issues like there was against Rios
