    Inspired-Why did Naz really quit?

If you followed Naz you would know shortly after he left Ingle gym his heart was not in the sport, He didn't train much and it was well documented he didn't like to spar which was reduced to a minimum. All he relied on was his power which was not enough.

He got humiliated by Barrera, took some time off and came back, he was supposed to be fresh prince but failed miserably, The guy knew his heart was not in it so leading to giving up the sport.

Naz was a very proud man and this was the reason why he quit, Naz did not want to end up like many boxers who have lost the love but still fought and have been embarrassed.

Naz also invested his money very well so he did not need to fight on just for the money.

He was already lazy, losing to mab probably just made him care even less about boxing.

They ran out of stiffs to face and had to fight the prime fighters at his weight. As soon as that happened he lost. He milked the "0" and it was just going to get harder after he lost.

If your heart is not into it he did the right thing in staying away

He was interviewed a few years ago and said that the reason he quit is because his hands were getting injured too regularly. If I remember the quote he said "my hands could no longer withstand the power that my body generates" ..or something along those lines.

That was a good interview, if I remember, it was like a huge revelation in that dramatic Naz fashion and we finally found out why he quit

I think Barrera would have beaten him regardless, but he did not train properly for that fight. He was training just to lose a massive amount of weight that he had gained in the 6 months after he beat Sanchez.
