If Broner fought Matthysse like he fought Maidana then Broner would probably go to sleep. Would be entertaining no matter what happens.

nah bro, lucas and maidana fighting styles are totally different. Maidana puts constant pressure on you non stop while lucas is more of a stalker. He isn't as active as chino so i feel ab would have better chances of not getting tagged with bombs and countering.

Yeah Matthysse wouldn't be able to smother Broner to bring down his workrate, not like Maidana did. Matthysse would get hit but Broner is also there to be hit. Broner dosen't have the footwork to avoid Matthysse and probably dosen't even want to.

I think they fight it out in the middle until someone drops and from what i have seen of both guys chins i think Broners would crack sooner.

I might be wrong, would be a good fight either way and it makes sense. Both guys need a decent win to rebuild.

Well said. Thurman has fought bums his entire career, his only decent win was against Maidana leftover Soto-Karrass a guy with a dozen losses lol.

Matthyse has actually been in the ring with some of the best in the world, Thurman on the other hand has done nothing to deserve this idiotic hype hes getting. I think Matthyse owns him.
