Fans should protest such a glass jawed fighter getting on TV.

This protest is ridiculous. This Scott guy was dropped by a right hand, and that was why he couldn't get up.

The body shot that landed when he was down isn't the punch that turned his legs into jello and prevented him from rising.

It makes for good boxing trivia.

"Knocked down twice, point deducted, won a 10 round UD.

Can't be very many instances in boxing history where that has happened.

No, see, you're thinking about the headliner fight. This is the one where Lou Moret CLEARLY missed the body shot AFTER Scott was down. There's no argument. I doubt it would've changed the final outcome of the fight, but still, you can't have refs skroo-ing up blatantly like that. Bad for boxing.

No I'm not. Washington wrecked Smith with a single right hand and after a slight delay Scott hit the deck put did so in such an awkward way that Washington threw one more shot.

It wouldn't/didn't change the outcome. I don't think he even realized he was hit with a body shot he was so ****ed up from the head shot. Dude has a straight up glass jaw.
