I find it mildly entertaining hearing the trash talk from trainers, I mean they're just people with opinions at the end of the day. Plus at world level in every fight the trainer's reputation is also at risk. That's why people are now starting to question how good Roach and Hunter are because they had a number of different fighters in their stable lose back-to-back. I think it was last year where the majority of world class televised fighters Roach trained lost their fights. Hunter just had Angulo and Mayfield lose.

Apart from "Team Alexander" Cunningham I don't think any trainer comes out and trash talk his fighters opponents. And am not talking about just giving interviews and telling us how your fighter will prevail.

Yea I'm all for a bit of banter and mind games here and there but there's a point when you wonder he's only doing it because he feels the need to because he likes being in spotlight and he feels to need to fight pacs corner. You don't see him trash talking for his other fighters past or present.

Roach has had hundreds of fights thats why he is like that. Hunter never even fought so he shouldn't be talking trash. I'm not fond of trainers who never even had 1 amatuer fight. This is the only sport where the coaches never even participated in the sport. Imagine a basketball coach who never even played the game?

agree trainers forget their role
i do enjoy hearen from them once n while
when theyre given insight into stradegy for a fight or training
but ya the talkin for the fighter
or talkin trash is no more interestin then when the fans talk **** for their fav fighters
more specificly with roach
they always make big deals bout his prediction
which hes been wrong since like forever except when he called one perfect prediction lol
