this will be a heavyweight fight for the ages, HBO PPV live from the MGM Grand
I doubt it would be PPV in the States. The winner of Arreola-Stiverne would be the bigger fight, IMO.

I hope he just fights him before he retires. Would really suck if he doesn't.

No, not now. He has never defeated even one fighter ranked in the top 30 heavyweights in the world so he has not earned a title shot. KOing a ton of unranked fighters doesn't equal beating top 10 guys as Fury and a few others have done. Wilder's next fight will be against a top 10 fighter. If Wilder wins that fight then Wlad should fight him and I'm sure he will. Wlad has always fought the top ranked guys and he will continue to do so.

Wilder needs to face a top 25 guy before getting excited about facing the champion of the division.that said I genuinely believe Wilder wont get past the Arreola Stiverne winner, jumping from a top 25 guy who doesn't like being punched to a top 5 guy is just about the dumbest **** I ever heard.his handlers will all be fired when Arroela or Stiverne KO him,he'll need someone to blame.

Seriously if Wilder was to jump in with Wladimir right now,he wouldn't make it out of the second round.I wanna see Wlad in competitive fights,a unification against the WBC vacant title fight carries much more appeal, and gives Wilder a little more time to face a dude ranked in the top 10-15,or hopefully top 25 ! It's a little pathetic we're here talking about a dude's chances agaisnt the champion when he hasn't stepped up his class in over 2-3 years, just simply systematically purged the division of its journeymen and gatekeepers by KO.

I actually like Wilder,I just find it difficult to get excited over him due to his refusal to face any meaningful opponent, when he was clearly being overmatched against every opponent in the last 2 years.i think he boxed four rounds last year! A guy who boxed four rounds last year alone, and who's biggest scalp to date is a fight Liakhovich, who for the record was shot 3 years previous, clearly isn't ready for a title fight.

The only fighter Wlad "should fight" is Pulev.

He has been Wlad's mando longer than Leapai, is thoroughly deserving and Wlad has made him wait long enough. If Wlad doesn't fight him next, I will lose what little respect I have left for him.

And don't give me crap like "no one cares about Pulev" or "Wlad vs Wilder is more intriguing". This isn't how it works. Pulev has fought his eliminators and more than earned his shot. You can't make your mando wait for over a year. (Actually, sadly enough, some fighters can. But they shouldn't.)

Wilder will get the WBC belt or at least try before they even think about Wlad.

Wlad should fight Fury next if he wins that's the fight.

Wilder will probably get his hands on the WBC title by hook or by crook then they'll hold that hostage. I don't see a unification with Wlad happening for a while.

Wilder is gonna go for the WBC belt before he tries Wlad
ideally, Wlad would fight Wilder first though
he might make it back on American TV for that fight
think Wilder is still unproven, but it doesn't matter
against Wlad he only has the gunslinger's chance to get lucky anyway
