HBO must not have Andre Ward on their broadcast. He will spend the whole time telling us how bad Froch and Groves are and how he's better than them. Bring RJJ.
Comments Thread For: Mikkel Kessler To Be Ringside For Froch-Groves II

He must be thinking comeback. I hope he resists the temptation.
He could still whoop Groves and Froch though.Comment

Kessler and Degale being mentioned for the winner of Froch-Groves II. Sounds boring and recycled. Sort of what Top Rank is doing at 140-47 with Rios, Alvarado, Provodnikov, Bradley, Marquez, and Pacquiao... but even that involves 6 fighters.Comment

Froch v DeGale - never fought before
Groves v Kessler - never fought before
Groves v DeGale II - controversy over the decision in first fight
Froch v Kessler III - ending to a great series
If Froch wins, it might be DeGale next.Comment

Froch - Kessler 3 would be career ending for both of these guys.

I won't repeat what Weebler has already said. But to add to that how can you call that Top Rank competition boring? There's been soooo many great fights between those guys. Id pay to see Rios-Alvardo 3, Bradley-Provodinkov 2, JMM vs Pac 5, Rios vs Prov and possibly other matches too.
Not all those guys are :elite: but the ones just short of that are hugely entertaining to watch, especially when matched with someone with a similar style. Give me a war over a chess match any day.Comment

The only way I want to see Froch-Kessler III is if Froch gets badly knocked out against Groves and it's a farewell fight or something.
Even then, I don't really want to pay for it.Comment

Lol at the suggestion of GGG or Ward being a reward for getting through these fights. How many fights have either of them been in that sold out 60,000 tickets in an hour or anything remotely close to it? The winner could do much bigger numbers against lesser opposition like James DeGale.
But if they choose to avoid him because they don't want a loss and because they can make more money elsewhere then I understand. I'll never be mad at a fighter for going where the most money is.
That's why I'm perfectly fine with Stevenson choosing a more lucrative offer instead of facing Kovalev.Comment
