You cant blame Virgil if Khan loses or looks bad, yes he can teach new things to Khan and fix up flaws, but you have to understand Khan was with Roach for the most important period of his career, you cant just undo flaws with 2 3 or even 5 fights, Khan literally has to forget stuff he has learnt over the years and it's not a easy task

Khan under roach was a toddler who turned slowly into a adult

with Hunter he is a toddler again, i dont think Hunter can undo what has already been created, Khan is going to look very confused in the ring if he cant get get his brain to process the new info without reverting back to what has become natural to him

I think he left it to late too change trainers, if he loses he should go back to Roach, and thats not a dig at Hunter, because had Hunter had Khan from an early age he could have made him a far more astute defensive boxer

I like both Hunter and Roach. They are both great trainers but can only do so much. I don't think Hunter or any other trainer will be able to take Khan to a nother level. He'll always go back and do the same mistakes over and over again.

The problem is Khan isn't good enough to change. He's too old and his style is what it is at this point. Hunter wastes a lot of time picking up fighters he should saty away from. Khan and Angulo being among the list.
