Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Steve Cunningham (26-6-1, 12KOs) appeared to be on the verge of getting stopped, but he staged a late rally to win a ten round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Amir Mansour (20-1, 15KOs) to capture the USBA heavyweight title. The scores were 97-90, 95-92, 95-92.

I always l iked USS, but I kinda lost faith in him these last couple fights thought he was on his way to become another JT but tonight he was on point against a very tough tough unorthodox opponent and pulled it out.

Wish him and his family the best. Prayers are out for his daughter as well.

Nice win, but Smoger helped Cunningham a bit out of pity. Very slow count in 5th and then the 10th rd kd not counted.
