Didn't think Cunningham was going to comeback after those knockdowns. Great heart.

The definition of "Trying to defend" does not include the inability to block or throw a punch.

        53 seconds left.

So then ppl can say he's not a warrior n just clinches all day? Don't get me wrong, I agree but thats what will happen if he does begin to hold more.

There was a minute left I believe. Plenty of time to give brain damage to an exhausted fighter. Or do you forget Mago?

What you're talking about would be basically like a standing 8. That doesn't happen anymore. In fact they mentioned no standing 8 going into the bout. Stevens trapped a defenseless fighter on the ropes. Why should Johnson get a break with a delay? Or are you fond of Joe Cortez b.s. tactics? Only correct action was a stoppage. Johnson will fight another day and get good paychecks doing it now. Nothing wrong with that.

Johnson did well for himself considering he did not have one ounce of common sense by trading with a huge puncher. If he had used his jab more and picked his punches better, he could have won but he was begging Stevens to nail him with Stevens best and that is what happened. Johnson is like Kirkland but without power. Kirkland brutalizes guys, Johnson is more of a pest. He is somewhat exciting but is not the brightest thing. Strategically placing your chin right in front of Stevens to be hit is really ******, laughably ******.

That "huge" puncher did not even get GGG's attention in their fight. Both fighters are way below GGG but evenly matched

You can take the quotation marks off of huge puncher because he is a huge puncher. You do know that huge punchers don't KO everyone, right? There has never been a huge puncher who KO'd everyone. He stopped GGG in his tracks at times so GGG felt those punches but GGG has a solid chin and a solid assortment of skills.
