How would you rate Maidana's Chin?

his balance makes him appear more hurt than he really is.


ortiz was big at 140 and can punch. given maidana's style, it was gonna happen. he was caught with punches he didn't see coming but he was never on ***** street in any of those knockdowns. he quickly got up from them and beat ortiz's ass down.

funny how nobody, including showtime, could find any highlights of these devastating body shots that karass and lopez supposedly landed. maidana looked like a fresh fighter at the time of both stoppages. he took their punches quite well for the most part. talk about blowing things out of proportion.

lopez had one good round in which maidana claims he was compromised by an illegal blow. maidana was trying different things against karass every round, he was brawling and boxing. i don't think he was all that hurt in the rounds he tried to boxed.

this, and marcos claimed that in the lopez fight the puch that hurt him was in the hip and couldn't feel his leg, it got numb

It's to the body where he's shown repeatedly that he can't take it well.

Though his neck and body look a lot more sturdy now. For many years the guy looked like he needed to eat a big cheese steak sandwich a day... He's finally starting to look like a welter sized ww.

Hes very susceptible to being knocked down but actually keeping him down is a whole different story. He has amazing recuperative powers, almost super hero like. Hes also more dangerous after hes been hurt.

I gave him an 8. He has never been stopped and he has fought many guys that hit hard. He has a Trinidad type of chin meaning he is not too hard to knock down but he is up quickly and recovers very quickly. He is the opposite of guys like Judah and Khan who cannot recover once they are hurt.

It's pretty solid. His ability to recover from damage is second to none. Maybe JMM is above him.

Voted 8. He can be put down, but his recovery rate is one of the best in the game.
