Comments Thread For: Freddie Roach on Tim Bradley's Taunts: Payback is a *****!

When Manny Pacquiao faces WBO Welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on April 12th, it will be one of Pacquiao’s most important fights. While Manny bounced back after his knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012 with a victory over Brandon Rios, there are still many who wonder if Manny is still the same fighter he once was.

One of the people who has voiced that same opinion is none other than Pacquaio’s opponent Timothy Bradley. During their HBO Face Off episode, Bradley openly told Manny he didn’t feel he still had the hunger and fire he once had. While Manny simply shrugged off his opponents comments and smiled, trainer Freddie Roach revealed those comments did get to Manny and its fired him up. [Click Here To Read More]

The same way they taunt JMM before their last fight, Pac end up on his face... Roach needs to know when to turn it off why? Because they are the A side.

im a huge pac fan but even im tired of hearing this "motivation" crap. if u need something like this to happen first in order to motivate u then maybe its time for u to hang it up. ur opponent being announce and the date of the fight should be enough motivation right there!

its sad to say but i believe pac is just fighting for the money now. win or lose he'll still make millions so thats why the motivation is not there anymore. when he was younger he had to prove and work hard to earn the spot he's in now. and now that he's here theres really nowhere else left to go so the motivation goes downhill from here.

Man I love Manny and Roach is an excellent HOF trainer but seriously.. Both Pac and Freddie were yapping about "We beat him (Bradley), why do we need a rematch..

And here we are about 2 years later seeing a pointless rematch.. Bob Arum done bamboozled the public.. Pathetic..

So Roach sent Bradley a box of socks because Bradley was using that as an excuse? Didn't Pac use socks as an excuse when he lost the first fight against Morales? Roach just needs to stfu and let Pac and Bradley fight their fight.

That's like.... 90% of athletes though. When they get to certain point it's just for the money.

Of course there's always exceptions like Ray Lewis and Tony Gonzalez. But yea...

And I wouldn't say it's just cause the money. When you get to certain point and you've been doing it for so long you just start losing interest and start getting tired of it.
