Who's The Better Fighter: Tony Bellew Or Cedric Agnew?

Sergai Kovalev last opponent = Cedric Agnew
Kovalev Won by KO 7

But which boxer do you think is more skilled, Bellew or Agnew? They both used a somewhat similar counter-punching game plan in those two fights, had some brief moments of success until they were eventually stopped.

Just ain't enough information on Agnew to say - he's clearly got some skills and put in a tough and gutsy performance against Kovalev but we need to see him fight some of the other contenders first. Right now all we can say is that he's better than Yusef Mack and worse than Kovalev. I think Chilemba (who I have pretty much level with Bellew) would make a good yardstick.

FWIW I strongly suspect Kovalev would have had Bellew finished as fast or faster than he did Agnew.

That's not saying Kovalev is better then Adonis, he just has a more come forward faster finisher style to KO bellew faster, and Agnew can box better then Bellew to survive longer.

Bellew has already lost 2 World title fights at 175, wasn't really much point in staying there if he was tight at the weight. He boxed as a Heavyweight in the amateurs and was known as a huge puncher.

To answer the question - Bellew has been in with and beaten better fighters. Agnew has only proved that he can block punches better. No real way to know for sure until Agnew faces another top opponent.

Bellew is David Price's gay lover and takes it up the arse from him regularly, so he probably instinctively stays down on all fours when someone becomes aggressive with him. Bellew would eventually bend to Agnew's strong will.
