Could Terrence Crawford run his own shows in Omaha?

I'm hearing that Terence Crawford may fight the winner of Beltran-Martinez next. And maybe in Omaha. #boxing

Well if it's Beltran, he deserves another crack at the belt

If he can rally the people of Omaha and Nebraska around him, that'd be pretty interesting. Dude had a pretty fast rise since he stepped in with Prescott

It could draw a big crowd in Omaha if it's a big hbo fight with another champ like Abril or Vasquez.. I think if it's big meaningful fights Crawford can be to Omaha what Andre ward is to Oakland...

Vasquez would be horrible fight for Crawford to gain fans. Since he's the champ now I expect him to really step it up because if he tries to gain fans with a fight with Vasquez he better not fight like he did against Klimov.

Vasquez won't give him an easy night at all.

Oh man.... Abril/Vasquez would be brutal for a homecoming show.

I think either Beltran or Rocky would be a good style match up for him to entertain and test himself

Hoping for Beltran because he deserves it

Antonia Demarco's fight against a nobody was surprisingly packed a couple years ago when he fought in Nebraska. Over 6k in attendace. I imagine Crawford will do well since Omaha is his hometown.

True, they do have bad styles, but their isn't a whole lot of options at 135,, Beltran would be decent, but for Crawford to really raise his profile, a win over Vasquez or Abril would be truly impressive and would make him a legit p4p, from there you can fight whoever probably, but Crawford needs a high profile fight or he will be like quillen and be a champ that no one cares about..

A beltran/Martinez fight would be decent. One a former world champ and the other a vet who's racking up decent wins.

Both have crowd pleasing styles and leaving a good impression the first time could leave the fans more forgiving the second time around.

Vasquez would be an interesting fight I'd like to watch though. If it happens first, I wouldn't mind, I'd like to see that. Vasquez is a tricky guy to fight and he controls you with that jab and distance.
