Maidana talking about having more stamina

In one of Ellie Scumback videos Maidana mentions noticing the results of training with Alex Ariza. He explained that he feels tired of so much training but that when the day comes, as he noticed against Broner, he has much more energy and stamina and doesnt get tired as much. He also said that against Broner they only had two weeks, so this time with four weeks left he's expecting even better results.
By the way, anyone knows where Maidana's neck is? we seem to have lost it.

Increasing his stamina is probably the best thing Chino can do.

Proper training can do wonders. There so much then the simplistic **** most boxing trainers have you do. A specialist is really needed these days IMO.

Yes, he needs to keep up a serious rate of fire. Hope he can do that. If he does we'll see a pretty interesting fight. It will be a bull vs matador thing, but hey, every once in a while the bull catches up with the matador and rips him a new one.

I agree this aint the old days, science knows everything on how to probably build strength, speed, agility etc etc. So all these fighters better get on board and start taking their training to the next level.

I don't know he looked fatigued midway with Broner to me. if it's 1 thing a fighter must have when fighting the likes of Floyd or even Pacman to a lesser extent is stamina.

People say that Floyd adjust. I was never really sold on that. Most fighters tone down after about 6 rounds while Floyd stays strong. Like Judah, Cotto after 8 and even Oscar all got tired. Margarito would have been so interesting......

Anyhow back on subject Maidana needs conditioning to even put up a fight.

Maidana puts everything behind his shots, unfortunately he will always have stamina issues

It'll be even worse with Floyd because Maidana will swing widely and punch thin air (remember hatton, who never had stamina issues) and as most boxers say this makes you very tired, very quickly

It'll be hell for Maidana if he doesnt get Floyd out of there within 4-5 rounds, all he has is a punchers chance, his best bet is to maul Floyd, but this never works with Floyd, who is a much bigger guy than Chino

Floyd does adjust, the reason fighters look so tired against Floyd is because they are missing punches and moving when they do not want to move.Floyd makes them doubt themselves and mental frustration leads to physical fatigue. Fighting Floyd is a mental war, sure your stamina may hold up against others, but try missing 80 percent of the time while getting counters with accurate shots
