      Klitschko wins tech. decision!
By Chris Bronte and Herman Patton at ringside
In a crossroads battle, former WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitshko won an unsatisfying five-round split technical decision over DaVarryl Williamson Saturday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. After three tactical rounds, Williamson dropped Klitschko in the fourth. Wladimir quickly regained his feet and fought back hard in the second half of the round. In round five, Klitschko was cut on the forehead by an unintentional headbutt. After the round the bout was sent to the cards due to Klitschko's cut. Scores were 49-46, 49-46 for Klitschko, 48-47 Williamson. Doctor Margaret Goodman stated the cut was down to the bone.

Klitschko got dropped by a guy that Joe Mesi beat in 1 rd. What does that tell you? Vlad is done and I think it's only a matter of afew fights or even Williams before Vitali will be done. I just don't see the staying power in either of these two. Not to sound like ass or anything.

Williamson stayed away from him most of the fight. In the 4th round Wlad hit Williamson with a right and Williamson countered while Wlad was a bit off balance and Wlad went down but not all the way he held himself from going all the way down. He then got up and pounded Williamson and almost knocked him down which put two of the judges in position to call it a 10-9 round. In the fifth round it was boring until the bell and Williamson accidentally headbutted Wlad and opened a gash by his eye which prompted the ringside DR. to call a halt to the bout.

what a bull**** fight. now we already knew that wlad had a week chin and got dropped again but from now on is he going to cut easy as well. i dont get the scoring how could wlad win 49-46 when he was dropped in a round. that would mean he one every round including the one where he was knocked down(they would call it williamson 10-9)

I totally respect yer opinion but totaly disagree with it. Vitali is nothing like his lil brother and his whiskers have been tested plenty. But yeah Wlad's career as a prize fighter died at the end of the Sanders fight!

It was a balance shot he kind of genuflected and bounced back up and dominated the rest of the round and the cut was from an bouncer's headbutt. The fight was a sloppy & ugly affair...two guys with very long arms entangled constantly. Klitschko seemed rattled then started getting pissed.
