Comments Thread For: Clinton Endorses Pacquiao On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

It was an evening of politics and pros when Fighter of the Decade and boxing's only eight-division world champion Congressman MANNY “Pacman” PACQUIAO took time from training for his upcoming world championship rematch with undefeated two-division world champion TIMOTHY “Desert Storm” BRADLEY to make another boffo appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night. This was Manny’s eighth appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! dating back to November 3, 2009, on the eve of his knockout victory of Miguel Cotto to claim the WBO welterweight title.

Kimmel opened the show with a monologue that featured a hilarious Pacquiao-starring commercial. That was followed by a very entertaining interview with President Bill Clinton, who in the first segment endorsed Pacquiao’s rising career as a public servant and his political future.

“I hope he [Pacquiao] goes right on up the ladder. I think he’s a great guy and he’s a great role model for the country. He’s very strong and honest,” said Clinton. [Click Here To Read More]

Bill Clinton is a great man and he spoke a lot of truth last night. Maybe if you watched it you would learn something.

Either you get in the game or you get played, there's no other way around it. He gave a lot of insight into how the system works.

He sets up roadblocks even for that. He's been ducking Jay Leno. He told Leno he would have to get rid of some cars first of he wanted him on the show. Apparently he doesn't want Leno showing him out in the car department.

You have a standin clown in here that calls himself "I love Jesus" but he is so obsessed with Floyd that it is actually a bit eerie. I mean, the discussion could be about heavyweights, middleweights, lightweights or bantam weights and the wierdo will bring up Floyd. Bro, it does not work! Your attempt to tear down Floyd will not make us forget that Manny Pacquiao is an average fight who was knocked out in front of the world! It will not erase the fact that he has not beat a champion in ten years! It will not erase the fact that his freakish power is suddenly a myth. It has not been there since Floyd called him out on steroids. Who has he stopped in 5 years? The last stoppage he has was in 2009. GGG'S manager,Marquez, Paulie and other great fighters and trainers say what all real boxing fans already know. Manny is not and never was on Floyds level.
