Groves needs to spend time, not on how he did the first few rounds, but on WHY he began to get tagged and was stopped.

While it was a great fight and Taylor was putting it on Chavez, the history books remembers Chavez TKO12 Taylor followed by Chavez TKO8 Taylor in the rematch.

Froch has the upper hand as he has the opportunity to add to his legacy by twice beating a young, talented man in his prime who hurt him badly. Groves still has to prove himself. So he should be more worried about how things will go in deep waters. People remember the fight, but history remembers the winner.

FROCH is more afraid to exchange now, that is true after the amount of punch he ate last time;you have to give it to GROVES. FROCH hit the canvas so hard like never happened before in his life,he can't forget that!!!

I didn't get that impression during their fight. I think Froch's trainer knows he'll have to drag Groves into a war, he won't outbox Groves. I don't see Froch holding back.

He's now in great shape already and in my opinion, he will be much more prepared.
Great points. There was a lot of turmoil for Groves leading up to the first fight.

This time around he should benefit from having more stability in his camp and if he learned something from the previous bout he should be an improved version of himself.

            Absolutely no chance.

Yes, of course. That's why he signed. Because he wants to lose.

Groves' reputation is gonna be ruined after he gets beat in the rematch and his career is gonna go backwards because of all the smack he has talked that he won't be able to back up.
I mean how ****** is he gonna look when Carl forces a stoppage against him with his head ragdolling against the ropes?
At least hes getting this big payday but unfortunately for him his career is going in the same direction as that of Lucian Bute....he will be crushed after the defeat, he won't be able to handle the media dissection of his epic failure and he will be a shadow of the guy who NEARLY KO'd Froch before being saved by the ref in the first fight.

As for Froch?.....If(and thats a big If) he loses to George then at least he can retire and look back on a great career at the elite level in the super middleweight division. He basically has nothing to lose while George has everything to lose because he hasn't actually achieved anything in the sport yet.

I noticed in the first fight that when George gets tagged he gets co*ky and drops his hands while trying to act as if he is fine when he is clearly a little dazed. That is gonna be his downfall in the rematch because he ain't knocking Carl out and he ain't keeping him away for the full 12 rounds.

Goodnight George. You are leaving Wembley Stadium with nothing.

One thing we have to remember, Froch has been in alot more wars than Groves... but then we also hear Froch say he had a poor performance in their 1st fight, said he didn't train properly. I think he pulls out a clear victory this time, but not without some tense moments. Groves is definitely a live dog, and Froch will take him seriously this time.
