There is absolutely no contract here. She's just talking to talk. Any lawyer would tell u the terms are way too vague. U will accept sums between a and b?? That's not language indicative of a contract.Comment

Say, for instance you'd agreed with someone to build an extension on their home, but actual costs had not been finalised - you have in writing that they want the work doing so you go out and buy materials, tools etc..only to have them say they've found someone else to do the work - I suspect that you'd be able to claim against them, at least for the costs you'd incurred.
Thing is Duva knows she can't make Stevenson fight Kovalev, but may just be hoping that the threat of either a tempoarary fight injunction or even a few $100K lost earnings costs might be enough to bring Stevenson back to the table.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 04-03-2014, 04:37 AM.Comment

People often forget that Cleverly and Campillo got the better of Stevenson's second and third best opponents. Not to mention that Kovalev didn't get knocked out by shared opponent Darnell Boone.Comment

Easy Max Kellerman. You say that crap when it's been publicly stated throughout the media that HBO offered lower for the fight than they did for Ward to fight fkn Rodriguez so stop it with the "anyone who says otherwise don't know ****" talks like you are some fkn boxing guru. Do you know the man? How do you know he doesn't plan on knocking Kovalevs block off once the fight builds up to a potential multi million dollar one instead of the high hundred thou fight it currently is? If he can get paid MORE to fight Hopkins than let him take his Hopkins fight and get that Payday first. He deserves it. Him and Kovalev can fight after. Why is everyone so scared the fight won't happen?? Think Kovalev will lose to a superior boxer before he gets to possibly KO your oh so hated Pimp Adonis? SMH. Kovalev still has work to do IMO, he's crushing guys but look who he's crushing. Really good fighter but hasn't fought the level of competition that Stevenson successfully has.Comment
