Showtime and GBP have been pretty adamant at getting Kovalev over to showtime.

Oh he has an HBO exclusive deal? Well when he finishes up his exclusive deal worth a lot of money, he can come over here for fights.

People seem to think that hey, Duva is the one holding up the fights with her unwillingness to jump to Showtime from HBO even though they have all the big fights.

How about Quillin?

Look at his last 3 fights on undercards.

Come on now... this is over the past year and a half.... that's his opposition.

The problem with this is 2 things:

Haymon manages him and they are not working with his fighters.

HBO isn't going to pay him as a headliner what he makes on the undercards at showtime.

HBO is very lucky that GGG and Kovalev get such high ratings at such a low cost. It really offsets the money they pay to Chavez and Ward.
