  • Comments Thread For: John Molina: Lucas Matthysse Will Respect My Power!

On April 26th, John Molina will move up to the junior welterweight division and face Lucas Matthysse in Carson, Calif. in a fight televised by Showtime. The fight will serve as the co-feature to Keith Thurman's interim WBA welterweight title defense against Julio Diaz.

Matthysse had a lot of momentum on his side when he entered the ring last September against Danny Garcia. Matthysse ultimately lost a unanimous decision and Molina said that he believes that loss will only serve as more motivation for the Argentine.

Sorry Molina, but I see this as an absolute one sided beating.

The guy fights with the technique of a ret@rded caveman. The machine is going to shred him!

Molina needs to throw in some head movement to have a shot he eats way too many punches, and from a puncher like Lucas I am not sure how long he can last. He is a real game dude and has potential to take Lucas deep if can hurt him.

Molina Should Be Fighting Diaz; Matthysee Should Be Fighting Thurman

Molina and Diaz have NO chance.
