Comments Thread For: Sullivan Barrera 'Taking No Prisoners' in Main Events Debut

Philadelphia, PA: Cuban-born light heavyweight Sullivan Barrera (10-0-0, 6 KOs) is set to make his Main Events' debut on the Cunningham-Mansour undercard Friday night at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA. Barrera will take on 32 year old Larry Pryor of Washington, D.C. for six rounds.

Barrera, also 32, turned pro in 2009 and is undefeated in ten professional fights. Sullivan did not fight for almost two years but came back strong with a sixth round unanimous decision victory over Joell Godfrey on December 14, 2013 in his adopted hometown, Miami, FL. According to Sullivan's trainer, Milton LaCroix, "With Godfrey he was ring rusty but he felt ok. He was rusty, he beat him but he should have knocked him out. He didn't but we will settle for the win. He got the decision and that is what matters." [Click Here To Read More]
