I think its funny how when boxing fans want to see a fight, they want it now or the guy is a duck! What's stopping Stevenson from fighting Hopkins, beating him, and coming back to fight Kovalev on HBO for even more money. The real reason Kathy Duva is mad is because Stevenson has a plethora of options, and Kovalev will be fighting bums in Russia until Stevenson gets around to fighting him. You can't hate a man with options.

Adonis and Kovalev are both established light heavyweights. GGG isn't a super middleweight. He's going to fight Chavez at super middleweight now. And don't say now u can say GGG is ducking because with wards legal issues, idk if he can fight at all and I doubt he would even take a GGG fight under his current contract with Goossen.

I don't see anyone willing to fight Ward at 168.
Not even Golovkin -- he'd maybe fight him in Kazakhstan (or Monaco), and with neutral ref and judges...
Nobody would beat Andre Ward in the U.S. (with U.S. officials).

But to be honest: Ward would win a UD anywhere in the world (unless he gets somehow KOd).

Good post. I think she is mad they had a verbal deal which adonis broke. she has every right to be pissed off at that. Kathy was very mad in her interview that her fighter was left with few options. But she isn't new to the game. SHe knows stevenson beating Fonfora and Bhop gets him money and means he would have 2 victories better than anything Kovalev has.
