I wish he would fight again in The USA. I would be interested in him vs GGG or Sergio Cotto winner. Hell, I would even like to see him and Quillin.

The fact that Soliman won the fight, in Sturm's hometown, while getting dropped in the process should let you know how the judges saw that fight. One fighter was outworking the other, I expect a repeat of that in the rematch.
If Sturm shows up motivated, I think he will beat Soliman convincingly. His fights from Macklin to Soliman I reeked of going through the motions, he almost looked disinterested in them. In the Macklin fight for example, he practically gave up the first four rounds by throwing next to nothing and letting Macklin pound away at his guard.

In the Radosevic and Barker fights he was a completely different fighter. He actually started strong and put punches together well. I think the losses to Geale (debatable imo) and Soliman were a blessing in disguise, he regained his motivation because of them.

Because Macklin was pressing hardcore the first couple of rounds?

If you neither punch nor move much, of course your opponent is gonna tee off on you...

Sturm could have tempered Macklin's early aggression by fighting back more (or at all). He is a sharp puncher and has more power than his record implies.

Honestly,STURM is a gentleman to give him another chance (IBF or not IBF,he steps in the ring with a cheater);but this could be a mistake because that crazy style to fight of SAM is not good for STURM.
