I agree that victory over Pemberton now looks like an accomplishment hardly worth mentioning. But that Calzaghe-Sheika stoppage was bull****; Sheika had just landed a clean left a few seconds earlier and was still defending himself.

With that said I dont think it is the wisest choice for Joe (even if he is stronger then Lacy which he may be) to brawl because I think he has more options and can switch things up.

Again Lacy is going to be damn tough to beat but for those of you who think he is twice as strong as Joe...think again Calzaghe should be fighting at light heavyweight...can the same be said for Left Hook?

Also keep in mind that the well weight rested 168 pound Scotty Pemberton (who Lacy was given a ton of credit for beating) was whacked out of there in 3 rounds by Peter Manfredo, Manfredo 1) had never fought at 168 pounds and 2) according to Dougie Fischer who I respect a ton Peter will most likely be campaigning as a junior middleweight (154)...154 pounder wahcked out Scotty Pemberton...suddenly Lacy's victory doesnt smell so sweet?

I am smelling something with this fight...Lacy is strong and he is good no doubt but let me say this I believe his matchmakers deserve a special scooby snack because his oppostion has been tailor made to this point-he has been matched PERFECTLY and for that reason he is seen by most to be this unstoppable killer...Im sorry my fellow Americans Im not buying it yet.

        See ya March 4th.
I'VE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING ABOUT CALZAGE, ALOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ROY JONES MOVED UP IN WEIGHT NOT TO FIGHT JOE, THE MAN IS DEFINITELY A MONSTER,THIS FIGHT IS TOO TOUGH TO CALL I'M JUST HAPPY TO BE ALIVE TO BE ABLE TO WITNESS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE MATCH-UP. AND JEFF IS THE REAL DEAL FOR STEPPIN-UP TO THAT TYPE OF CHALLENGE.
