Everybody says it all the time with Floyd. It's different in the ring with Floyd, its just different. He's cerebral in the ring and Marcos is going in with this false hope believe. Garcia is quoted as saying he can't let him watch Floyd fight because it would discourage him. No! You need to know the enormity of what is up against. The most accurate puncher in the history of boxing. Top three defensive fighter of all time and they are making it a blockbuster night, watching Rocky. That beatdown that Marcos would like to give Floyd would be better served on May 4th for Robert for leading Marcos into a gunfight with a dull plastic butter knife.

He still has to see it. It's one thing to develop tunnel vision for the mission at hand, however, Robert, given this way of training, can really only train Marcos one way and hope that it plays out like this. Floyd fights everyone differently and adjusts on the fly. Floyd likes to say that he doesn't watch tape but we know he's bull****ting, he's probably watched the Broner fight more than anyone here and has dissected it in his mind. Your eyes need to see the tendencies so that you can react, not just go with what your trainer says. Your trainer isn't in the ring with you.
    I agree totally

Agreed. They pumped Rios's head full of fantasy when he fought Pac and look what happened. Rios REALLY thought he could win. It's boxing and anything can happen with one punch, but realistically Rios had absolutely no chance.

Same thing with Maidana/Floyd. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Maidana lands a perfect shot and shocks the world, but it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. It'd be like a 16th seed team winning the NCAA tourney. It could theoretically happen, but it wont.

        I will not Watch

There is no way I will pay to see this fight. Another hand picked little floyd fight. Wanna know how it will go?. SEE BELOW:

Maidana chases mayweather till he runs out of gas. Mayweather pot shots him till the fight is over.

It will be a fun fight to watch.Especially early on. I hope Maidana doesn't take that elbowing ****. When Broner did that Maidana hit him in the nuts on purpose. Funny ****.

Floyd will win, but Maidana will make it interesting at times. Floyd hasn't fought a true pressure fighter since Hatton. Someone to really test his age. And please, don't make me laugh. Floyd isn't stopping Maidana.

So he just needs to work on stamina, throwing as many punches from as many angles as possible, and just wait for 12 rounds to see if that punch ever lands.
No. Connecting a lucky punch is not the only way Chino can win. He hits too hard. Even grazing Floyd several times or hitting his arms he would have a cumulative effect. They are planning to throw lots and lots of punches for 12 rounds. They say 100 punches per round. I don't know if it is possible, but the "punchers chance" doesn't necessarily depend on a moment of luck.
