Floyd pulled broner away from the rematch and took on Maidana himself because floyd knows broner would get crushed again, and wants to save him.

A lot of people forget that Broner is 23 and won 3 titles in 3 different divisions. His body hasn't even reached its physical prime yet. He moved up too soon. He should have done what Mosley advised him to do and rule at lightweight until his body outgrew the division. Broner set himself up for expectations. He needs to know that going up in weight needs to be gradually done.
