How much he gets paid is more important than giving boxing fans the best fight, apparently.
It's not about what's more important to me but I understand. I can't hate on someone for taking the money even though I don't get to see the fight I want to see.

People like you are the reason boxers feel like they can duck fights and get away with it. Stevenson is gonna get paid more than enough money regardless of who he fights. If people weren't so caring about how much fighters got paid, there would be less excuses for ducking in boxing.
And read the thread posted earlier, even if HBO matched Showtime's offer, Stevenson didn't guarantee that he'd fight Kovalev. He's a ducking disgrace.

People like me? I'm don't work in boxing. I didn't have anything to do with Stevonsons deal. Your trying to act all righteous when you yourself would take the money.

That's pretty much where I am. Do I want to see Adonis fight Kovalev? Yesterday. Am I OK with him doing a victory lap in Montreal against reasonable, but less dangerous, opposition? OK, but he still better try to fight Kovalev sooner rather than later. Am I OK with promoters, networks, managers, and lawyers completely effing this up? No. Is that a possibility? Yip.
