People have double standards when it comes to certain fighters.

I try to stay consistent, if a guy is making more money by fighting someone then I can't be mad at him. Regardless of who he is. Boxers put their health at risk every time they step in the ring so they should always strive to get paid the most they can.

Oh, and maybe your memory fails you when Vitali and Haye were supposed to fight two seperate times and Haye backed out.

Keep trolling Vitali dude. It's casual for you.

If Sergio avoids the fight and retires with a #1 challenger who most think will beat him like that then he's a coward. Just like LL was for avoiding a Vitali rematch. A COWARD.
I didn't say he retired because of an injury. He did retire for 4 years and pulled out of about 3 fights with Hasim Rahman because of injury in the early 2000s.

He retired because he wanted to, he retired on his terms to go become a politician. That's fine. You're quite ignorant if you think injuries weren't a factor too. Every fighter should be afforded the right to do that. Even though he promised the world to KO Haye and then didn't fulfil that promise. It's ok.

But for you, it's ok for Vitali to retire on his terms but guys like Sergio and Lennox have to keep fighting for your pleasure. These guys owe you nothing. You're just a dweeb on a message board with his head up his own arse.

Sadly, Chavez Jr would be GGG's best career win, as pathetic as that sounds. JCC just split 1-1 IMO, with a 160 pounder at SMW and LHW(Anything above 168 up to 175 is LHW) in Vera. And this will be GGG's best win. The way I see it is, they would both be each other's best wins, and they would both be at 168 fighting. I've stated before, it evens out, because Chavez hasn't fought a Super Middleweight, and GGG hasn't fought at Super Middleweight, so to me it's kinda even.

With that said, if Chavez Jr wins, he would have overachieved big time. The guy would have gone from struggling with Luciano Cuello and Matt Vanda to beating Rubio, Lee and GGG. If GGG wins, due to his extensive amateur background, fan hype, and label of "avoided", coupled with the fact that Vera beat Chavez Jr, this win wouldn't be all that for him, but still the best win on his very poor resume.

It's also Sergio's best win since Pavlik 4 years ago, and he's still p4p

This is why GGG's promoter has already stated before the JCC Jr. fight is even finalized that Golovkin is moving back down to 160 immediately after the fight. Because you know all those challenges that GGG has at 160... Martinez (won't fight him) and Quillin (rival promoter).

Back to extorting HBO for defenses against Andy Lee and that ilk.
            good points.
            lets hope not.

I don't know why these dumb Floyd fanatics are even in threads like this, and about double standards. These are the same mofos that justify Floyd for not fighting Lara because it's not a money fight.

Will you clowns just stop posting completely? Just seeing your names makes my stomach churn.

I am not taking about "Best wins since". I am talking best win. period.

Also, Martinez's best win before Chavez Jr was Williams rematch, not Pavlik. He also had a very solid win against Dzinzuruk after Williams, and then beat Barker, who beat Geale, and Macklin who should have beaten Sturm.

Of course, you're right. Still that was 2010, and since then the highlight of this p4pers campaign was Chavez Jr.

What an absolutely awful thread on so many fronts. And that some agree is disgusting.
