And Froch has a rematch with George Groves first before he can look to GGG, what was Golovkin meant to do, wait till it's ok for Froch??

And Ward and GGG are obviously gonna fight in the future, HBO are clearly building that fight for the future
    This^

GGG is bigger and way, way better than a guy that almost knocked Lara out.

Canelo would waste Lara and GGG would put him in a body bag.

So are you saying Lara would be welcome on hbo, despite no gbp fighters on hbo for a year?
First off, it wasnt "Well before" and at THAT time the fight wouldnt even make sense.. now it would make more sense since Quillin had some more wins and so has Golovkin and no Lara wouldnt be welcomed but he does happen to be the last GBP fighter to appear on HBO for what its worth. My point is.. they knew Quillin fight couldnt happen, even if they talked about it 5 years ago, they still kept talking about during the cold war and a week later when Lara calls GGG out, they awknowledge the cold war and say "Oh he fights on showtime" its not even up for debate. Double standard.

What do you mean it wouldnt make sense? When Pirog dropped out Quillin was offered a title shot on HBo main event for more money than hed gotten prior or next. Years later and he still hasnt featured in a main event. Then a couple of months later Pete said no interest in that fight, ggg needs to builds his name. All the while gbp was welcome on hbo

Lara wasnt the last gbp guy on hbo, not even close. It was Broner vs Rees or Hopkins vs Cloud months later

Ward - He's just all mouth and protecting his 0
Froch - Barely got past ginger kid Groves on his last outing, I think GGG probably retires him in an ugly fashion
Lara - Please that boy was getting his ass handed to him by Angulo before the mutant growth.

          This post is pointless.

He is fighting. He's fighting Cotto for much bigger money on PPV. If he retires after that, he'll relinquish the belt, that's how retirement works.

            Stay on topic.

Sergio should fight a guy who everyone knows is the best MW in the world if he disputes it. If not, he can retire a scaredy cat.
How does he retire a "scaredy cat"? If a man wants to retire from boxing, he should be allowed to. Just like Vitali Klistchko did.

There's a big difference. The only person in heavyweight boxing who anyone gave a real chance to beat Vitali is his brother who he could not fight.

Martinez has a very good, very real threat and everyone knows he would most likely get manually retired, including him.

              It's a duck if it doesn't happen.

Let's be honest, GGG isn't afraid of being hurt by Ward, he's just afraid of getting embarrassed. All this hype and money ends when he takes a 10-2 loss to Ward. This is why GGG's promoter has already stated before the JCC Jr. fight is even finalized that Golovkin is moving back down to 160 immediately after the fight. Because you know all those challenges that GGG has at 160... Martinez (won't fight him) and Quillin (rival promoter).

Back to extorting HBO for defenses against Andy Lee and that ilk.

Vitali promised to knock David Haye out and then he retired. That's his choice. Vitali is 41 years old and has plenty of injuries. Same as Sergio. None of these boxers owe the fans or anyone else anything.

It's only a duck if Sergio continues to fight on and takes a lesser fight. Retiring at 40 is not a duck. How ***in up your own arse do you have to be to think like that?

                      WRONG.

Vitali retired to go into politics. Not due to injury.

Oh, and maybe your memory fails you when Vitali and Haye were supposed to fight two seperate times and Haye backed out.

Keep trolling Vitali dude. It's casual for you.

If Sergio avoids the fight and retires with a #1 challenger who most think will beat him like that then he's a coward. Just like LL was for avoiding a Vitali rematch. A COWARD.
