One thing you cannot say Berto lacks is heart. In his recent losses I gained respect for him. he fought Karass and Guerrero until he could no more.

Very true,, Berto always gives 100%. He just isn't good enough to hang at the top level, and I am worried about his health, he is becoming the new jermain Taylor IMO

Yeah losing to Guerrero was not a big deal. The Karass fight though was alarming, as Karass is not even a contender in my eyes. He is more or less a tough upper level journeyman.

What's weird is Ortiz never seemed more determined in a harder fight in his life than with Berto. Berto must inspire him. lol Berto should be really touched by that.
