The problem is that you think Mikey needs Gamboa, if Mikey fights Uchi, he's still winning. If he defeats him, he'll be the unified champ at 130.

Mikey is fine whether it's Gamboa or Uchiyama.

And how do you know that? Where is the link that supports this claim? And even if Gamboa was asking for more early on, these were ongoing negotiations and he publicly changed his stance. There's no real excuse here, man. This fight isn't happening because the Garcia camp -- not necessarily Mikey himself -- doesn't want a fight with Gamboa.

It's the best fight for Garcia. That's the fight we all wanna see. It sucks if he's pricing himself out.

Who says I think Garcia needs Gamboa? I'm saying the fans would prefer to see Yuri fight Mikey, not Uchiyama. You really want to disagree with that?

HBO obviously doesn't want to pay for Uchiyama, but they're willing to pay for Gamboa. Why is that?

NEW YORK — Well, we can scratch Mikey Garcia-Yuriorkis Gamboa from our list of intriguing possibilities on the spring schedule. Representatives for Garcia (3

" who the **ck is Gamboa?, why should he be getting as much money as Garcia?"

Since you guys believe Bob so easily, this should be a no brainer.

Until March 13, he was asking for at least 50/50. Notice how he says half of my million. Looks like last minute he changed his mind though, but by then negotiations were over and Arum was already like "Fuck that guy. I'm tired of dealing with his BS"

Of course not, Gamboa is name people recognize. Mikey becoming a unified champ doesn't benefit HBO.

HBO is about to get spanked this summer by Showtime, they need the common person can recognize.

A boxer's twitter is not a reliable source of information. I couldn't care less what they were both saying on twitter.
