This thread just inspired me to watch Leonard vs Hearns. Pulled pork anyone!
Better resume Pacquiao or Sugar Ray Leonard

Pacquiao has no one near as dangerous as Thomas Hearns or Roberto Duran or Marvin Hagler on his resume.
He did have his chance, when Paul Williams was calling him out, and Sergio Martinez for a fight at 151 but he turned it down.
Ray Leonard also has Wilfred Benitez on his resume, which was a great win.Comment

^Paul Williams compared to Hearns? Were you smoking weed when you posted this?
Watch Margarito vs Williams then Watch Pacquiao vs Margarito. And stop smoking weed it's bad for your brain.Comment

But what im saying is there were fights available for Manny, such as LEGIT dangerous fighters, slow plaster Margarito was big and that was it, he was in all other words, a glorified bum.
Paul Williams was a legit big guy that was the most feared WW, and Manny could have taken him, but they decided to play the mexican card.
The point of my post, is Manny has fought NO DANGEROUS BIG MEN such as Leonard did.Comment

This goes to Leonard but it's not a hands down victory, Pacquiao has such depth in his career but Leonard has those BIG names in Hearns, Hagler and Duran.Comment

Lol,
So barrera, morales, marquez, 8division, 4 lineals is nothing, accdg to ***** logic.
Totally thats why they call it era, you cannot compare both just by resume.
The thing is both men did not cherry pick any opponent theyve faced the best whom they can fight!Comment

This is laughable, what HOF has Pac beat? Barrera, Morales, JMM. sorry but they are no where near the upper elite ATGs. Cotto is a wild card some say hes a HOFer but he beat nobody to call himself a HOFer. Also looked bad in a lot of his fights. Honestly the only name in Pac resume to really boost it is Floyd, or really challenge himself to fight these bigger guys in 160. Same goes for Floyd.Comment

My vote actually goes for Pac.
Out of the fab 4 Leonard has the weakest resume in my opinion. Yeah, he's the only guy to beat the other 3 of the fab 4, but let's not forget his antics. Waiting out Hagler and rushing Duran back into the ring after their first fight really takes a lot out of those wins in my opinion.
Take into account the amount these guys fought too. Pacquiao is 55-5-2 and Leonard is only 36-3-1. Leonard only consistently fought for 7 years from 1977 to 1984. Pacquiao has fought continuously coming up on 20 years.
Leonard was the ducker and dodger of the fab 4 era. Pacquiao takes all comers.
To me I just can't really give Leonard credit. He had skills, but he'll never be a "great" in my book, I don't care what anybody says.
Put Pacquiao resume up against any of the other fab 4 and I'll give them the edge over Pacquiao.Comment

Pacs career isnt over yet and its just typical for people NOT TO APPRECIATE THE PRESENT if they grow old and would look up pac and the present greats, they wll surely appreciate what pac is.Comment
