Now abit off-topic but, anyway, in replay of the fight I shockingly noticed Hatton was telling his corner at the end of the eleventh that he couldn't go one more round! Was HATTON on the verge of quitting (only for Kostya to quit first!)??
He didnt say that. Billy Graham said 'you need one more round to win, can you give me that?' and Hatton said 'too ****ing right I can'

Hatton was responding to repeated low blows from Tszyu. This is the same in all his fights. If you foul Hatton, he remembers it and fouls back. There were a lot of fouls in the fight from both fighters, and point deductions were in order for both.

But was not intentionaly like Hatton. He was giving some body shot and accidentally lowblowed but that was a dirct blow if he was in a neatural ground it would call for Disqualifaction.

That give a bad name to the sport and to Hatton as a champion

this is by far the most ridiculous thread i have ever seen, Tszyu also low blowed Hatton or did you not see that? come to think of it he hit about 3 low blows. You really gotta get over your Hatton hating..he won the fight fair and square..get over it,

The one person that has never complained about this was Kostya Tszyu. He has not complained once about the fight, not one aspect of it. He took defeat like a man, and said in the ring after the fight that Hatton was better than him in every department. It is only people that hate the fact that a Brit is king in one of the toughest divisions in boxing that have a problem with it. KT dished it out, but he is a real man and so can both dish it out AND take it.

That should close this debate once and for all.

Kostya Tszyu's low blows were not only unintentional but on the beltline everytime. The beltline to me shouldn't be considered a low blow because most fighters wear thier trunks higher than they are supposed to.

With that said I believe Hatton should of been deducted a point for such a blatant intentional low blow but it didn't determine the outcome. Hatton was already starting to takeover in the fight and was really beating on Tszyu at that point.

Did Kostya say anything to imply he wanted to stop or was it just his corner? I forget.

Johnny Lewis (Tszyu's trainer) asked KT if he was OK. He got no response. He asked him again - are you ok? Nothing. This signalled to Johnny that it was the end of the fight for Kostya.

I predicted that Kostya was gonna destroy Ricky Hatton. Not only did I predict it, I shouted it out all over this & another forum.
I thought Kostya would expose Hatton, & wanted badly to see him do it.

Well, Kostya got outfought & outgutted.

You don't see me on here trying to cheapen Hatton's win because I feel ****** about my pick or upset 'cause a favorite was beaten.
Stop your whining, guys. Tszyu lost because Hatton brought it to him, & wouldn't be stopped. Period.
