Comments Thread For: Alejandro Hernandez KO's Marvin Mabait In Major Upset

Promoter Felix 'Tuto' Zabala told anyone who would listen that Marvin Mabait was in for a tough test against veteran Alejandro 'Payasito' Hernandez.

Every once in a while, a promoter actually tells the truth. Mabait learned that lesson the hard way, as Hernandez racked up a major upset with a 5th round stoppage Friday evening in Mexico City. [Click Here To Read More]

The Mabait fight is the perfect example of the right time to stop a fight. Mabait gets hit with two punches that renders him senseless, his knees buckle, he is turning toward the ropes, is defenseless, and each shot he is being hit with his making him more senseless. Perfect stoppage. One of Mabait's handlers had the nerve to lash out at the referee. The handler needs to be fired for having zero interest in his fighter's safety.

Back to the drawing board for Mabait. Good win Hernandez. I'd like to see Hernandez in a title eliminator next. Or maybe Mabait's people will push for a rematch?
