  • Nobuhiro Ishida weighing 89 Kilograms now

He's been packing it on since last year.

He says he also hasn't increased his power with the weight increase, but he'll be relying on his skills anyway in the six rounder.

Guy next to him is Vyacheslav Shabranskyy (7-0, 6), they've been sparring

Nobuhero looking good at HW - but hell, no more power? Still it was never gonna be about getting the KO.

Far as I know this is just about fighting for the Japanese HW title. He ain't planning re-starting his career for a HW world title run, just wants to go out on a high. Props to the kid.

Also never heard of Shabranskyy, but that ain't a bad starting record - and from his weights he's gonna be a LHW rather than a CW - might keep half an eye on the kid.

Love Ishida and the way he made a whole second era of his career with that Kirkland KO: two legit title shots and he went the distance with Paul Williams.

I think he's crazy to move up, but what do I know? War Ishida!
