not true...when news of this fight potentially happening in the near future broke out everybody was onboard and wishing for it to really happen.

only when stevenson made a deal with haymon/showtime that they started rejecting the idea because of their perceived connection to their idol.

Very embarrassing to be taken to court as a boxer just because you fear fighting a certain boxer. Worse part is losing it and be forced to settle it by giving up part of your present or future income. It's like being collared to grow balls and stand up against a bully.
