DLH is recognized as a 6 division champion, although he should actually be a 5 division champion. Everyone knows his 160 belt was a robbery to Sturm.

Sorta what I would have said......DLH won that fight based on his aggresiveness and flurries but it is easlit disputable.....either way he has done what nobody else has but it is not as prestigious as it would have been in years past since all the sanctioning bodies are crooked as hell....IMO it should only count if you were the ruler of that division for at least 2 or 3 big fights then you are recognized as a multiple title holer after you mast the division you are in one by one.

I don't know if you are a DLH fan, but the closest you could score that fight was 115-113 Sturm. It should have been a clear UD for Sturm, but the judges had their cards ready the night before the fight.

It was for the WBO belt......I wouldn't consider that a title.

I will not argue 116-112 Sturm in some peoples eyes but DLH looked fat and still aggresive enough to steal round depending on how a judge scores a fight I love DLH and truely count his only true losses as Hopkins and Sturm even tho he got the nod...I think he beat Trinidad and Mosley both times although the first fight was very close sort of like the Sturm/DLH fight.

I don't know what's wrong about the WBO. They have existed since 1989, plus some of the WBO champions are the best in their divisions. I see it as legit as the WBC or any other, maybe even more.

I agree that he was robbed against Mosley in the second fight, but I scored the first one easily for Mosley; 116-112. I scored Trinidad-DLH 114-114, and DLH-Sturm 116-112 for Sturm.

people say hes a 4 division champ cuz the WBO isnt legit (even though every1 recognizes it as a legit title), but yes, oscar de la hoya has won titles at super featherweight (130lbs), lightweight (135lbs), jr welter (140lbs), welter (147lbs), jr middle (154lbs), and middleweight (160lbs).

from 130 to 160, a 30lb jump in a 13+ and 41 fight career. impressive, by anyones standards.
